BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday called for continued hard work and vigorous efforts to push forward China's modernization.
Xi Jinping, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the call at a reception to mark the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
