The city will lease a plot of land in the Krasnopakhorsky District to an investor for the construction of an automobile manufacturing facility. "Moscow continues to actively develop infrastructure and create new opportunities for residents and businesses. To this end, the capital has been using large-scale investment projects since 2016. As part of the Moscow Investment Program (MAIP), a new automobile manufacturing facility will be built in the Krasnopakhorsky District. The city will lease a 5.7-hectare plot of land for its construction. Private investment will total 15 billion rubles," said Vladimir Efimov.
Large-scale investment projects implemented in the capital since 2016 are one of the key instruments for the development of the city's economy.
"In accordance with Sergei Sobyanin's instructions, the capital is consistently developing industrial sites in new districts. For example, a modern automobile plant for the production of high-tech municipal vehicles will be built in the Krasnopakhorsky District. The opening of the plant will create 750 new jobs and stimulate the further development of innovative manufacturing in the New Moscow," noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
A large-scale investment project is a special status granted to projects that are essential to the capital's development. These include, for example, manufacturing and innovation centers, multifunctional and sports complexes. Developers implementing such projects can lease land plots from the city.
According to Ekaterina Solovieva, Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the Moscow Department of City Property, will be provided with a plot of land near the village of Kostishovo for the construction of the facility. The implementation period for this MAIP, which includes the construction of a building with a total area of over 40,000 square meters, will be three years. The city will oversee the progress of the work at all stages.
