Bucharest, September 29 (Xinhua) — Moldova's ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) secured a majority in Sunday's parliamentary elections, winning just over half of the votes, according to data released by the Central Electoral Commission on Monday.
After processing data from 99.9 percent of polling stations, the PDS received 50.1 percent of the vote. It was followed by the Patriotic Bloc with 24.1 percent, and the Alternative Bloc with 7.9 percent.
The Moldovan Parliament's term of office is four years. The previous legislature was elected in July 2021. –0–
