BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) — The Science and Technology Society of China (STSC) will launch a campaign to promote international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation in October 2025, it said at a press conference in Beijing on Sunday.
A total of approximately 60 events are planned in 15 provincial-level regions across the country, including the centrally-controlled cities of Beijing and Shanghai, and Zhejiang Province, as well as in five overseas countries, including France and Brazil.
The campaign will be organized by the NTOC in collaboration with international scientific and technical organizations, local governments, and scientific and technical associations. Its goal is to create a fair and inclusive international platform to further strengthen openness, trust, and cooperation in the global scientific and technical community.
In particular, more than 20 professional scientific events, including the 2025 International Conference on Physiology and the 16th Asia-Pacific Conference on Physics, will focus on the development needs of advanced science and technology and emerging industries of strategic importance.
Meanwhile, more than 10 multilateral or bilateral scientific, technical and cultural exchange activities, including a Chinese-Russian translation competition, will deepen exchanges between Chinese and foreign scientific and technical workers. -0-
