Moscow, September 29 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed after a drone attack in Voskresensk, Moscow Region, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said.
According to the governor, a total of four drones were shot down in Voskresensk and Kolomna. A fire broke out in a private home in Voskresensk, killing a 76-year-old woman and her 6-year-old grandson. Several buildings in Voskresensk sustained damage to windows and facades, and street lighting was disrupted. According to A. Vorobyov, there were no other injuries.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces shot down 84 drones overnight over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Oryol, and Kursk regions, as well as over the Moscow region.
