New York, September 28 (Xinhua) — Several people were injured on Sunday in a shooting at a church in Grand Blanc, Michigan, northwest of Detroit, local police said.
As the Grand Blanc Police Department clarified on Facebook, the incident occurred at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"There are several injuries, and the shooter has been neutralized. There is currently no threat to the public," local law enforcement officials said, but urged people to avoid the area while emergency response efforts continue.
