Ramallah, September 26 (Xinhua) — The Israeli army killed two Palestinians in the village of Tamun, south of the West Bank city of Tubas, the Ramallah-based Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Thursday.
"We have been informed of the killing of 29-year-old Mohammed Suleiman and 20-year-old Alaa Bani Ouda by Israeli army fire in the village of Tamun in Tubas," the press statement reads. It noted that their bodies were retained by the Israeli army.
Palestinian security sources told Xinhua that the Israeli army surrounded a house in the village and fired three grenades and a bomb-laden drone at it. Clashes and heavy gunfire were heard in the area.
Tubas Governor Ahmed al-Asaad told Xinhua that the Israeli side had been informed about the killing of the two young men. –0–
