Beijing, September 26 (Xinhua) — The Gansu Daily Newspaper Corporation (Gansu Daily) and the Delovoy Kazakhstan newspaper have agreed to establish strategic cooperation, local media reported.
The signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement took place at the Gansu Provincial Forum on Integrated Innovation and Media Development, which opened on Wednesday in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, northwest China.
According to the document, Gansu Ribao and Delovaya Kazakhstan will establish a mechanism for regular cooperation and open representative offices in each other's countries.
An international plan to film a documentary was announced at the forum, organized by the Gansu Provincial Journalists' Association, the Gansu Daily Corporation, and other organizations.
The Gansu Provincial Center for International Communications, along with leading media outlets from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan, will collaborate on a documentary film dedicated to the rivers that inspired ancient civilizations in regions along the Belt and Road.
The said international project, as stated at the forum, will serve as a new bridge for inter-civilizational exchanges within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative, which has far-reaching significance. -0-
