Yerevan, September 26 /Xinhua/ — Armenia's foreign trade volume in January-August 2025 decreased by 41.1 percent compared to the same period last year, amounting to approximately $12.9 billion, the National Statistical Committee of Armenia reported on Thursday.

In the first eight months of this year, exports fell by 48.8 percent year-on-year to approximately $5 billion, while imports fell by 34.9 percent to $7.9 billion.

The decline in Armenia's foreign trade indicators is mainly due to a reduction in the volume of gold re-exports. –0–
