Beijing, September 26 (Xinhua) — An exchange event between Chinese and Russian legal mediators was held in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province, northeast China, from September 19 to 23, Partners magazine reported.

The event was held with the support of the Harbin Arbitration Commission, the Heilongjiang Association for the Promotion of Emerging Industries Focused on Russia, and the Harbin Bar Association.

The Russian delegation consisted of 25 people, including judges, lawyers, international mediators, university professors, professional negotiators, psychologists, and other professionals from various fields. During the event, the Russian delegation visited three law firms and, together with the Chinese delegation, held in-depth discussions on key topics such as international commercial disputes, labor arbitration, and the resolution of cross-border marital and family conflicts, exchanging professional opinions.

The two sides reached an important consensus on cooperation, not only establishing a communication bridge for connecting the local legal services of China and Russia, but also promoting the further improvement of the international dispute resolution mechanisms between the two countries and the establishment of communication and cooperation between the two countries in this area. -0-
