Beijing, September 26 (Xinhua) — A new China-Belarus Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) recently opened in the Great Stone Industrial Park in Belarus. The center is led and promoted by the Zhejiang Provincial Health Committee and the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Administration under the supervision of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceuticals of the People's Republic of China.

According to the Zhejiang Daily newspaper, the opening ceremony of the center took place as part of the 2025 Chinese Medical Equipment Exhibition in Belarus, which took place from September 23 to 25 at the Great Stone Industrial Park.

A senior official from the provincial health committee noted that this cooperation not only demonstrates the shared appreciation of traditional medicine but also embodies the deep friendship and mutual trust between the two countries. The new center aims to create a comprehensive platform integrating medical services, education and training, research collaboration, and cultural dissemination, and aims to become a landmark project on the "Healthy Silk Road." It is also one of 30 high-quality overseas TCM centers envisaged by the aforementioned state administration's plan.

Let us recall that in 2015, Zhejiang Province and the Minsk region established sister city relations. -0-
