Budapest, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) — Hungary on Friday categorically rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's claim that Hungarian reconnaissance drones may have violated Ukrainian airspace.
Earlier, V. Zelenskyy wrote on the social network X that Ukrainian forces had recorded violations of the country's airspace by "reconnaissance drones, which are likely Hungarian," and that, according to preliminary assessments, the flights may have been directed at Ukraine's border industrial regions.
Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó vigorously denied these accusations. On his Facebook page, Szijjártó claimed that Zelenskyy was "going crazy with anti-Hungarian sentiment" and was "chasing ghosts."
