Beijing, September 25 (Xinhua) — The first broad-gauge heavy-haul train loaded with semi-coke departed from Ereenhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, to Mongolia recently. This marks the beginning of the export of such products from China to Mongolia through the Ereenhot railway crossing using Mongolian broad-gauge gondola trains. This was reported on the official website of the Ereenhot mayor's office.
In order to ensure the effective implementation of the international logistics project for the export of semi-coke from China to Mongolia, the Ereenhot railway checkpoint formed a special group for transport support, developed a logistics plan in cooperation with semi-coke production enterprises and agency firms, and ensured the efficient and stable operation of the train intended for the transportation of semi-coke, using the mechanism of “Daily Dialogue and Monthly Meetings” of border railway service employees of China and Mongolia.
