Nanchang, September 25 (Xinhua) — The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Forum on Traditional Medicine (TM) opened Thursday in Nanchang, capital of East China's Jiangxi Province. During the event, a website for the SCO countries' TM information exchange platform was officially launched. It can be accessed by visiting https://scotmf.jxutcm.edu.cn/.

Available in Chinese, Russian, and English, the platform is said to integrate big data, artificial intelligence, large-scale language models, and other next-generation information technologies. Its goal is to facilitate information accumulation, mutual exchanges, multilateral cooperation, and policy coordination in four key areas of traditional medicine among SCO countries: education, scientific research, healthcare, and industry.

The initiative aims to further strengthen the preservation and transmission of traditional medicine while enhancing its global impact. -0-
