In the Donetsk People's Republic and Zaporizhia Oblast, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev met with defenders of the Motherland participating in a special military operation. At his direction, another shipment of weapons, uniforms, and vehicles was delivered to Russian army commanders and service members, including those stationed in the Far East, on the front lines.

"Our soldiers—Far Easterners—are defending Russia's independence alongside everyone else on the front lines of the special military operation. A number of employees from the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, and the Far Eastern regional administrations have volunteered for the front. We are paying special attention to all the problems and concerns of all our soldiers. We will continue to assist them, providing them with equipment and gear produced under the special regime—the Patriotic Priority Development Area. We are proud of the Far Easterners—their courage, bravery, and fortitude," said Yuri Trutnev.

In the DPR, Yuri Trutnev met with servicemen from the Eastern Military District. The soldiers received FPV drones, electronic warfare equipment, and reconnaissance equipment from the Patriotic Priority Development Area. Optical observation devices, thermal imaging sights, fragmentation suits, smoothbore rifles for countering enemy drones, ammunition for them, ammunition for high-precision sniper systems, as well as enduro motorcycles, self-propelled vehicles, and other vehicles were delivered to the front lines.

Yuri Trutnev and the commander of the Eastern Military District, Colonel General Andrei Ivanaev, presented state awards to service members of the Eastern Military District for their bravery and heroism.

During his visit to the DPR, Yuri Trutnev also met with soldiers from the 155th Guards Marine Brigade and the 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of Gorlovka and provided them with necessary equipment and supplies.

In Zaporizhzhia, Yuriy Trutnev spoke with volunteers – employees of the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, and the Far Eastern regional administrations. The volunteers received from the Deputy Prime Minister FPV drones and electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment manufactured by companies within the Patriotic Priority Development Area. They also received motorcycles and other vehicles, optical surveillance devices, shotguns, counter-drone equipment, and attack and reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems.
