NEW YORK, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Qiang said Wednesday that China and the European Union should uphold fairness and justice, serving as a force for stability and certainty in the world.
He also called on both sides to adhere to strategic autonomy and play a more constructive role in global issues.
Li Qiang made the relevant statements during a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The Chinese leader arrived in New York to participate in the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
