Minsk, September 24 (Xinhua) — Belarus invested 33.2 billion Belarusian rubles (approximately $9.8 billion) in fixed capital from January to August 2025, the country's National Statistical Committee (Belstat) reported.
The Minsk region's share of the total volume of used investments in fixed capital amounted to 25.1 percent. In Minsk, 21.6 percent of investments were used, in the Brest region – 12.9 percent, in the Gomel region – 13.1 percent, in the Grodno region – 9.6 percent, in the Vitebsk region – 9 percent, in the Mogilev region – 8.6 percent.
In the technological structure of investments in fixed capital in Belarus, construction and installation work accounts for 48.6 percent, machinery, equipment, and vehicles – 38 percent. Other work and costs account for 11.1 percent, and intellectual property assets – 2.3 percent.
By type of ownership, 39.6 percent were state investments in fixed capital, 54.1 percent were private, and 6.3 percent were foreign. –0–
