Specialists from the Rosneft Research Institute in Ufa have developed digital information models for ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL gas fields using the RN-KIN corporate software package.
Data on all industrial, domestic, and social facilities is organized in a unified format. The models contain information on over 530 km of existing and 160 km of planned gas pipelines, over 250 km of oil and condensate pipelines, approximately 300 km of high-voltage lines, and over 50 well clusters.
The use of digital information models effectively solves a wide range of problems. Key tasks include assessing the utilisation and reserves of field infrastructure, planning the commissioning of new facilities and the implementation of optimization measures, and performing hydraulic calculations of pipeline systems for a given period.
The models also contain topographic information, which allows for comparison of options, taking into account development costs, at the stage of locating prospective sites.
The implementation of digital information models optimizes design processes, long-term planning, project performance analysis, and integrated modeling. Specifically, the company's specialists will be able to quickly perform calculations related to energy systems, hydrocarbon collection and processing, and reservoir pressure maintenance.
Reference:
RN-KIN covers over 1,000 Rosneft oil and gas fields, from Sakhalin and Eastern Siberia to the Timan-Pechora and Volga-Ural regions and the North Caucasus. This digital environment contains a significant array of historical data and analysis of 175,000 wells. It is a unique knowledge base for the development and operation of all types of reservoirs: carbonate, terrigenous, high-viscosity, low-permeability, oil, gas, gas condensate, and others, with varying degrees of complexity.
