New Delhi, September 23 (Xinhua) — A 13-year-old Afghan boy flew to Delhi from Kabul, hiding in the landing gear compartment of an aircraft. He was later sent back to Afghanistan, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to them, the incident occurred on Sunday. The boy is a native of the Afghan city of Kunduz.

Security personnel located and detained the boy near the plane at New Delhi airport. He was questioned and later sent home on the same flight.

During interrogation, the boy said he had entered Kabul airport and managed to get into the rear center landing gear compartment of a Kam Air plane.
