Tashkent, September 23 (Xinhua) — Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 19.8 percent in the first eight months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, local media reported on Tuesday, citing the National Statistics Committee.
It is reported that in January-August 2025, the country's foreign trade turnover amounted to USD 51.4 billion, an increase of 19.8 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
It is noted that the largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China – 18.9 percent, Russia took second place – 16.1 percent, followed by Kazakhstan – 5.9 percent.
Let us recall that in January-August of this year, gold exports from Uzbekistan increased by 68.9 percent compared to the same period last year. –0–
