On September 27, the Cinema Museum at VDNKh will host the grand opening of a new children's cultural and educational center—a creative space where every child can feel like the creator of their own film. From 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, guests will enjoy a packed program, including screenings of favorite films and cartoons for the whole family, as well as free master classes and lectures.
At the workshops, children will learn how to create a real movie using a simple flashlight and their own imagination, and why images begin to move. They will also discover the golden ratio, master the basics of face painting, and learn popular games among pioneer camp counselors at the "Last Summer of Childhood" exhibition.
At the new center, children will learn about the professions of director, animator, and cartoonist through play and creativity. For example, in an interactive area with touch panels, young guests can color their favorite cartoon characters, master the basics of classic stop-motion filming, and create their own short cartoon on a real animation machine.
The Children's Cultural and Educational Center was created within the framework of the federal project "Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure" of the national project "Family" With the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture, it will operate on a permanent basis. Young visitors and their parents will be able to join educational and creative events related to the world of cinema.
