As part of a working visit to the Donetsk People's Republic, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev visited the territories under the Far Eastern regions' wing and met with the heads of working groups from the Amur, Magadan, and Sakhalin Oblasts, who reported on the early completion of the approved construction and installation plan.

"Our Far Eastern regions continue to restore facilities in the Donetsk People's Republic. Far Eastern construction workers are renovating and constructing schools and kindergartens, clinics and hospitals, cultural facilities and sports facilities, and renovating multi-story buildings and public spaces. Construction and installation work plans at sites in our territories are being completed on time, and often ahead of schedule," said Yuri Trutnev.

The Magadan Region assumed patronage of Zhdanovka in the DPR in 2022 and has since provided support to residents and assisted with the restoration of city facilities. This year, the Magadan Region working group has already completed work on 11 sites. A football field was installed in Block 1, the roof and façade of the Culture and Leisure Center were overhauled, and the pavement of four city road network facilities (three roads and one sidewalk, paving a total of approximately 8,500 square meters) was repaired. Major roof repairs were also completed on four apartment buildings. A new flagpole was installed near the stele at the entrance to the city. Completion of work on the remaining two sites is scheduled for October 1, 2025.

During a working visit to Zhdanovka, Yuri Trutnev inspected the renovation work at the Zhdanovka Culture and Leisure Center. Built in 1983, the two-story building hadn't been renovated for over a quarter of a century, despite being the only such facility in the city and surrounding villages. The center houses a large number of children's clubs and activities, and construction work is being carried out in a manner that doesn't interfere with classes. As members of the working group noted, the facility is quite large and challenging in terms of its technical condition. Work is scheduled for three years – 2025, 2026, and 2027. This year, major repairs to the roof, porches, and façade were completed. Windows and doors were replaced. Fire escapes have been installed. All planned work has been completed in full. The building now has a modern appearance. Repairs to the center's internal utilities and facilities are planned for 2026.

Thanks to the Magadan Region, Zhdanovka now has a modern football pitch with artificial turf. A playground and children's sports fields were built nearby. The quality of the work meets all standards, and the work was completed ahead of schedule. The football pitch is already used by the city's football teams for training and matches.

In Shakhtyorsk, Yuri Trutnev met with the leadership of the Sakhalin Region working group and inspected the completion of major renovations at Shakhtyorsk School No. 19. Construction workers completely replaced the damaged internal utilities, repaired the roof, kitchen area, and cafeteria, replacing kitchen equipment, and improved the school grounds. The school stadium was also completely renovated. The school now has a mini-football field with artificial turf, a combined basketball and volleyball court, and a workout area. Running tracks with rubber surfaces and a long jump pit have been installed for track and field activities. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Far Eastern construction workers, the students now study in comfortable conditions.

During its patronage, the Sakhalin Region has restored over 200 facilities in Shakhtyorsk and donated 23 pieces of specialized equipment to the city. This year, work was completed ahead of schedule at 31 facilities, including four secondary schools and two preschools. Roofs were repaired on seven apartment buildings, and six playgrounds were renovated. Younger residents of Shakhtyorsk were also given special attention. Thanks to the assistance of the Sakhalin Region, 500 children attended summer camps.

The Amur Region is providing assistance to the Amvrosiyevsky Municipal District. Restoration of the second building of the Amvrosiyevsky Rehabilitation Center in Amvrosiyevsky has been completed. The center was established on the site of a pioneer camp abandoned during the Ukrainian occupation. It is now focused on providing assistance to soldiers of the Air Defense Forces. Specialists from the Amur Region carried out a major renovation of the two-story facility: they renovated the building and created a recreation area nearby with benches, swings, and a chess table. Equipment was also purchased with support from the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The facility offers a full range of physiotherapy treatments. The regional branch of the state foundation "Defenders of the Fatherland" provides rehabilitation assistance to military personnel.

In Amvrosiyevka, Yuri Trutnev visited the renovated central Lenin Square. With the support of the Amur Region, the paving was completely replaced, a modern dry fountain was installed, the lighting system was modernized, new benches and a playground were installed, and the Lenin monument was restored. The square has been transformed into a comfortable and attractive place for city residents to relax. Work is currently underway to renovate the façades of the apartment buildings adjacent to the square.

A total of 113 facilities were repaired in the Amvrosievsky Municipal District between 2022 and 2024 as part of the Amur Region's restoration efforts. An additional 14 facilities are scheduled for restoration in 2025. These include renovations to the central library, the interior of School No. 6, and the cafeteria of School No. 2. An emergency response team has been organized (the costs of all necessary equipment, machinery, materials, and tools are being reimbursed by the Amur Region). More than 500 children received recreational activities.

As a reminder, a working group from the Jewish Autonomous Region is also carrying out repair work in the Amvrosiyevsky Municipal District. Specialists are busy repairing the roofs of multi-story buildings. An emergency repair team is also working to prepare for the winter season.
