Tashkent, September 22 (Xinhua) — From January to August this year, gold exports from Uzbekistan increased by 68.9 percent compared to the same period last year, local media reported on Monday, citing the National Statistics Committee.
It was noted that during the reporting period, Uzbekistan sold gold worth a total of $8.42 billion. The committee did not disclose the physical volume of sales.
