September 19, 2025 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the educational institution.

Please accept my sincere congratulations on your anniversary.
Ninety years ago, the legendary Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation was founded. Since then, it has become a leader in training highly qualified personnel for the transport industry. And rightfully bears the name of the outstanding military and government figure, Chief Marshal of Aviation Boris Pavlovich Bugayev.
Today, it is one of the country's leading technical higher education institutions. It combines tradition and innovation, unique scientific schools and modern educational technologies. Students have the opportunity to study with renowned professors and instructors, gain flight and simulator training, acquire fundamental knowledge and essential skills, and master their specialty. Importantly, the institute is rapidly developing, opening new departments, including one on the operation of unmanned aircraft systems.
And, of course, it is proud of its graduates, including Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, honored test pilots, and cosmonauts. This is largely due to the faculty, staff, and veterans of the university—all those who dedicated their lives to serving the skies and the Motherland.
I wish the staff of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation continued success. May the anniversary academic year be a successful one for both faculty and students, and may good fortune accompany all your endeavors.
