The Zheba Dance is a Xizang drum dance and a complex performing art form that combines storytelling, singing, dance, and acrobatics. In 2006, it was included in China's first list of national intangible cultural heritage.
Today, the Second Vocational and Technical Secondary School in Lhasa has already incorporated Zheba dance into its regular curriculum. In some schools, elements of Zheba dance are part of morning exercise routines.
