The Industrial and Energy Forum took place in Tyumen. At the main industry event of the fall, Rosneft enterprises RN-Uvatneftegaz and research institutes from Ufa and Tyumen presented new digital projects.
Rosneft is successfully integrating its own digital solutions into its production processes. The Company's corporate software suite has already replaced over 80% of the functionality of third-party software products.
During the forum, representatives of RN-Uvatneftegaz and the Tyumen Scientific Institute presented the capabilities of the RN-Predix digital project.
RN-Predix, a proprietary secure industrial internet platform, is designed to optimize the collection, processing, and analysis of industrial data. The software has been launched at five of the Company's facilities.
As part of RN-Predix's capabilities, the company's specialists also presented the RN-Videoanalytics intelligent video surveillance module at the forum. This module enables monitoring and control of employee compliance with industrial safety requirements at production facilities.
Scientists from the Ufa Scientific Institute demonstrated a 3D scan of a centrifugal pump casing. The institute's laboratories 3D print over 700 unique parts for rotating equipment, previously manufactured by foreign companies.
Rosneft organized a competition in additive manufacturing and reverse engineering for university students at the Forum. This is a new competition within the Company's large-scale IT Marathon, which it has been holding for seven years. The competition aims to identify talented students and engage them in the development of new technologies applicable to the Company's production needs.
