GUIYANG, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) — China's Jiuyuan Airlines (9 Air) on Wednesday launched a direct flight route linking Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, with Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea.
Flights on this route will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. The flight will depart Guiyang at 2:55 PM Beijing Time and arrive in Seoul at 6:50 PM. The return flight will depart at 8:25 PM, landing at Guiyang Airport at 11:55 PM Beijing Time.
The flight from Guizhou to Seoul takes approximately 4 hours, and the return flight takes 3.5 hours.
The new flight is expected to ease travel between the countries as South Korea plans to introduce a temporary visa-free regime for Chinese tour groups at the end of September, according to the Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group. -0-
