On September 16, the Tenth International Forum on the Kuzupi Desert opened in Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. During the two-day conference, government officials, representatives of international organizations, experts, and scientists from more than 40 countries and regions gathered in Ordos to exchange experiences in desertification prevention and control, as well as discuss innovative methods and technologies for scientific desertification control and green development. Using this international platform, Ordos showcased China's latest achievements and "Chinese solutions" in combating desertification.

As the world's only major international forum dedicated to combating desertification, the Kuzupchi Desert Forum always attracts global attention. At this forum, participants from Brazil expressed great interest in China's desertification-fighting experience and technologies, expressing hope that China's expertise could be used to support local efforts to prevent desertification.

Lu Kai, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in China, said: “I came here precisely to deeply study China’s professional experience and innovative measures in the field of combating desertification and explore the possibilities of cooperation between Brazil and China in this area.”

The International Forum on the Kuzupchi Desert is not only a platform for sharing experiences but also an important mechanism for promoting international cooperation and the joint protection of the green planet. Forum participants hope that this forum will help find an "optimal approach" to addressing desertification issues.

Professor Paulo Alexandre Dasilva Pereira of Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) noted: “We must work together to find solutions adapted to local conditions, taking into account regional diversity, that will not only improve people’s lives but also contribute to ecological prosperity, achieving a balance between people and nature.”

Zhang Weidong, Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Sand and Grass Industry Association, stated, "China is a good example of global desertification control, and Ordos is a good example of Chinese desertification control. This forum has successfully showcased the achievements of the 'four lines of defense against sand' in Ordos, once again drawing global attention to local green development practices, and earning widespread recognition from the international community."
