Specialists from Rosneft's Novokuibyshevsk research institute have created Russia's first library of hydrocarbon catalysts. Numerous samples of oil refining and petrochemical catalysts have been collected for further analysis and comparison with new products from both Russian and foreign manufacturers.

Centralized collection and storage of samples in the library allows for the prompt transfer of catalysts for the implementation of various innovative projects and other scientific work, as well as for periodically emerging technological challenges requiring testing and prompt decisions on the selection of a catalytic system.

The library also serves as a catalyst exchange fund for the Company's oil refining enterprises and provides ample opportunities for selecting the most effective product, making decisions about its purchase, or expanding its own production.

Rosneft is a market leader in catalyst production. The Company's current innovative development program is aimed at replacing imported technologies in the production of high-quality petroleum products. One of the program's key objectives is to transition Rosneft's refineries to using in-house catalysts, thereby avoiding the risk of dependence on foreign products.
