In September, the third season of the cultural and educational project "Lesson with a Star" will begin in Moscow. Artists and cultural figures will talk about their creative activities and conduct master classes for students of children's art schools (DSHI) and specialized colleges.
The new season will be opened by theater and film actress Elena Zakharova. On September 18 at 18:00 she will meet with students of the I.S. Kozlovsky Children's Art School.
Over 3,400 students from children's art schools and vocational education institutions met with the project's guests during the first two seasons. Meetings with celebrity guests are held in the format of open discussions and master classes, which makes them especially important for the creative development of the students. The invited mentors initiated the expansion of the project and the launch of new formats: artist Alexander Shilov held a series of meetings for the children in his own gallery, and Russian conductor Vladimir Spivakov invited students to the House of Music for an open rehearsal with the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra, which he leads.
The children's art schools that participate in the project implement educational programs in various areas of the cultural sphere, including theater, circus, vocal and instrumental genres, folklore and choreography.
The first two seasons of the project evoked a lively response from students, teachers and representatives of the professional community. More than 40 famous cultural figures took part in them. Among them, for example, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet andIgor Butman, Igor Yatsko And Alexander Yatsko, Vladimir Pankov, Pelageya, Nonna Grishaeva, Svetlana Ivanova, Basinia Shulman, Nikas Safronov, British conductor Jeremy Walker and many others.

Metropolitan Department of Culture has been implementing the Lesson with a Star project since 2024. The goal of the project is to create a space for creative dialogue between outstanding cultural figures and students of the capital's children's art schools and specialized colleges.
