Almost 400 thousand people took part in the events of the pavilion "Economy of Moscow" within the framework of the forum "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030". This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.

"Over the month and a half of work in the pavilion "Economy of Moscow" more than 300 events for representatives of different audiences were held – from children to senior citizens, from students to experienced specialists. Almost 400 thousand visitors took part in open lectures, discussions, master classes and other events, watched live broadcasts of podcasts with experts and film screenings in the lounge area, participated in games and quizzes. Thanks to the work of the pavilion, residents and guests of the capital were able to learn more about the economy of Moscow, improve financial literacy and look into the future of one of the largest megacities in the world," said Maria Bagreeva.

An important feature was the educational mission of the site: each of the pavilion’s areas, from the children’s play labyrinth and film screenings to the business program events and the central game “Economicon,” was aimed at gaining practical knowledge about economics and developing useful skills.

Maria Bagreeva noted that more than 200 experts shared their knowledge, experience and advice on finance, economics, career, opening and running a business, as well as cybersecurity with the pavilion guests. Among them were famous economists, representatives of government bodies, entrepreneurs, scientists, bloggers, writers and journalists. Thanks to the comprehensive approach to the program, each visitor to the pavilion was able to gain knowledge that was relevant to him or her.

The experts also took part in recording over 100 episodes of the “Economics in Detail” podcast. They can now be listened to on all popular platforms.

According to Maria Bagreeva, the high interest from both visitors and experts shows the relevance and demand for educational projects that help to better navigate the current economic reality. It is important that people are not only open to gaining new useful knowledge, but are also ready to share it with others.

The country's largest banks, Lomonosov Moscow State University, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the New Economic School and the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took part in preparing the pavilion's business program.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin called the Moscow Economy pavilion one of the main educational platforms of the forum "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030".
