Dear friends!
I welcome the participants and guests of the VIII International Forum of Oncology and Radiotherapy.
For doctors and scientists, government officials, and public organizations, this is a unique platform that provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and outline new ways of joint action to combat malignant neoplasms.
Improving the quality and availability of medical care in the oncology field is one of the priorities of state policy. Active work in this direction is being carried out within the framework of the federal project. Modernization and technical re-equipment of specialized medical organizations has been carried out, a three-level system based on the principle of territorial planning and demographic indicators has been built, significant results have been achieved in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms, including with the use of innovative Russian nuclear medicine technologies and biotechnological developments.
Traditionally, this large-scale event will include symposiums, round tables, and master classes, during which current medical issues will be discussed. A separate event will be the presentation of the Academician A.I. Savitsky Prize to outstanding doctors and professional public organizations.
I congratulate the laureates with all my heart and wish them new successes. And to all the participants of the meeting – fruitful work, constructive communication. I hope that the recommendations you have developed will very soon be applied in practice and will help many people.
M. Mishustin
