BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) — Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun held talks with Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Minister Alvaro Lopez Miera in Beijing on Tuesday.
As Dong Jun pointed out, the relations between China and Cuba are a model of unity and cooperation among socialist countries and an example of sincere mutual assistance among developing countries.
The Chinese defense minister said that China hopes to work with Cuba to implement the important agreements reached by the leaders of the two parties and the two countries, expand people-to-people exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, advance bilateral military-to-military ties to a new level, and build a China-Cuba community with a shared future.
