JAKARTA, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) — Indonesia plans to return with a more comprehensive concept to the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo to be held from Sept. 17 to 21, 2025 in China's Nanning, with pavilions dedicated to commodities, national themes and artificial intelligence, the country's Commerce Ministry said on Tuesday.
“Indonesia’s participation in the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo 2025 is a strategic move to showcase national potential, promote exports and attract investment from regional trading partners,” said Fajarini Puntodewi, director general of the National Export Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce.
She expressed confidence that this year's participation in the China-ASEAN EXPO will surpass previous achievements and create more concrete opportunities for Indonesian enterprises.
The exhibition will feature 84 Indonesian companies showcasing a wide range of flagship products, from coffee, spices and seafood to coconut products, edible birds' nests, fashion apparel and accessories.
Miftah Farid, head of the Indonesian delegation, noted that this year's focus will be on maximizing the visibility of exporters, as well as artificial intelligence as a new driver of the Indonesian economy. –0–
