NEW DELHI, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) — At least seven people from one family were killed in India's western Rajasthan state when their car fell into a deep drain, a local police officer confirmed by phone on Sunday.
The incident occurred late on September 13 in the state capital of Jaipur. Among the dead were two children and two women. The victims of the road accident were returning from a religious trip to the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of South Jaipur Rajarshi Raj Verma told media that the car was speeding at the time of the accident. –0–
