BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Commerce announced Saturday it has launched an anti-dumping investigation into imports of certain analog chips originating from the United States.
The investigation was initiated in response to a petition filed by the provincial semiconductor industry association on behalf of Chinese manufacturers, the department said in a statement.
The investigation will focus on interface chips and gate drivers manufactured using 40nm and higher technologies.
The ministry clarified that the investigation is planned to be completed by September 13, 2026, but under special circumstances the deadline may be extended for another six months. –0–
