On September 10, the 10th cultural event with presentation and exchange elements, "Colorful World", was officially launched in the special exhibition area of cultural and tourism services of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) 2025.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Jordan to China Hussam Al-Husseini, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cabo Verde to China Arlindo do Rosario and his wife Carla do Rosario, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to China Raduan Chaouqi, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania to China Novruz Çeta, the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to China Karlis Eichenbaums and other accredited diplomats representing nearly 30 partner countries in the joint construction of the Belt and Road initiative, as well as representatives of international organizations such as the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF). The event was held under the motto "Ten years of jointly building bridges of friendship, flourishing the "garden of a hundred flowers" of civilizations" and was dedicated to humanitarian exchanges within the framework of the OBOR initiative. Through exhibitions, art performances, cultural and tourism presentations and other formats, a platform for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries has been formed, aimed at promoting mutual learning between civilizations and cultural interaction.

As an important part of the culture and tourism section of CIFTIS, the Colourful World event has become an important window for Beijing's cultural exchanges with the outside world for the 10th time.
