BEIJING, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) — China's National People's Congress (NPC) and its standing committee have passed a total of 36 new laws since 2021, Shen Chunyao, chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the NPC Standing Committee, said Friday.
Since 2021, the NPC, China's top legislature, and its standing committee have also approved 63 amendments to existing laws, made 35 decisions on legal issues and hot topics, and issued one interpretation of the law, Shen Chunyao told a news conference in Beijing.
