BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) — China has become the world's second-largest developer of new medical drugs, accounting for over 20 percent of all drugs developed worldwide, Guo Yanhong, vice-chairman of the National Health Commission, said on Thursday.
In recent years, several innovative drugs developed in China, including some anti-cancer drugs, have been approved for market entry, filling gaps in the country's pharmaceutical supply, she said.
Zanubrutinib is one of the new drugs that has been approved for use in many other countries, Guo Yanhong said. -0-
