They are dedicated to the results in achieving the national development goals established by Decree No. 309 of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The cycle of eight meetings, which will run from September to December 2025, will be dedicated to the presentation of key initiatives covering the social sphere, infrastructure, ecology, industry, economy and culture.
Dmitry Chernyshenko spoke about projects for children and youth within the framework of the national goal “Realization of the potential of each person, development of their talents, education of a patriotic and socially responsible individual.”
"Our actions together will determine how much the future will correspond to the image of the result set by President Vladimir Putin. The head of state defined it in the form of national development goals for Russia until 2030. The most important and special thing is the realization of the potential of each person. Our task is to create conditions so that you want to study, study, create, develop in the areas that interest you. This year, on the instructions of the President, a new national project "Youth and Children" was launched, and it included 183 events that provide more than a hundred – I think, thousands of opportunities," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Government is building a comprehensive support system that covers various areas. These include the creation of reliable basic living conditions, the development of educational infrastructure at all levels – from kindergarten to postgraduate studies, broad opportunities for development and self-realization, volunteer and socially useful activities.
Thus, over the past five years, 1.7 thousand schools have been built and more than 5 thousand have been renovated. By 2030, another 12 advanced schools and at least 25 world-class university campuses should be created (at least 40 by 2036). The “Professionality” program is already being implemented throughout the country.
Dmitry Chernyshenko spoke about the wide range of opportunities for self-realization of young people in Russia, which are provided, among other things, by the presidential platform "Russia – the Country of Opportunities", the development program "Another Thing", as well as 17 year-round youth educational centers. Rosmolodezh forums are held throughout the country in various areas, this year there are 27 of them.
In addition, the "Big Change" is held – a competition of the "Movements of the First". This is the most massive children's and youth movement in Russia, with over 12 million participants.
Young people can also become participants in a large-scale volunteer movement. More than 1,000 “Dobro.Centers” and about 3,500 headquarters have been opened across the country.
"Your energy, determination, desires and talent of youth are the main resource of our country, which will help us achieve the goals set by the President. Therefore, dare, create, search, try – the road will definitely be mastered by the one who walks! You will succeed. We boldly look to the future and move forward!" – said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The presentation of projects aimed at achieving national goals and included in the national project "Youth and Children" was held by the heads of ministries and departments, as well as the heads of specialized public organizations. They are aimed at revealing the potential and developing the talents of each person, as well as raising patriotic and socially responsible citizens who deeply respect and preserve the traditional spiritual, moral, cultural and historical values of the country.
Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented the “Ticket to the Future” project, thanks to which a unified model of early career guidance is in effect in schools.
"We are implementing the course "Russia – My Horizons" in all schools for more than 8.5 million students in grades 6-11. Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, a regional career guidance program will be approved in each region. It takes into account the needs of the labor market of a particular region and local employers. More than 6 million schoolchildren have registered on the single portal for career guidance for schoolchildren "Ticket to the Future" since 2021. Students have completed over 13 million career guidance diagnostics. We strive to actively attract employers, and more than 13 thousand are already participating in career choice events," said Sergey Kravtsov.
The head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov noted that from September 17 to 21, the World Youth Festival will take place in Nizhny Novgorod, which will bring together 2,000 participants from Russia and 120 countries.
"International youth cooperation is one of the main areas of our work within the framework of the largest national project "Youth and Children", which provides opportunities for self-realization for 50 million young people. A separate federal project "Russia in the World" is dedicated to this. The World Youth Festival, which last year brought together 20 thousand young people from 190 countries, opened a new stage in the development of cooperation with other countries. On behalf of the President of Russia, the legacy of the WYF is preserved and expanded. New projects that we are implementing together with our foreign partners are designed to show that Russia is a country of opportunities, where every person can realize their talents, make their dreams come true," said Grigory Gurov.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Denis Sekirinsky recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task of ensuring the country's global leadership in science, technology and innovation. Thus, in the science city of Koltsovo in the Novosibirsk Region, the Center for Collective Use "Siberian Ring Photon Source" (SKIF) is being built. It is a complex of 34 buildings and structures, as well as engineering and technological equipment, ensuring the implementation of scientific research on synchrotron radiation beams.
"Without science, it is impossible to build the present and especially the future of the country. The creation of megascience class installations, such as SKIF, is one of the key tools on the path to achieving technological leadership and competitiveness of our country on the world stage," Denis Sekirinsky emphasized.
