BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — An award ceremony for the crew members of China's Shenzhou-18 and Shenzhou-19 spacecraft was held in Beijing on Wednesday.
Zhang Youxia, a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented medals and award certificates to Shenzhou-18 astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu, and Shenzhou-19 astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze.
In January 2025, Ye Guangfu was awarded the Second Class Medal for Merit in Cosmonautics, and Li Cong and Li Guangsu were awarded the Third Class Medal for Merit in Cosmonautics and the honorary title of Hero Cosmonaut.
In turn, in July, Cai Xuzhe was awarded the Medal for Merit in Cosmonautics, second degree, and Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze were awarded the Medal for Merit in Cosmonautics, third degree, and the honorary title of “Hero Cosmonaut.” –0–
