Let us recall that the cooperation agreement between the Russian Military Library and the State University of Management was signed in April of this year.
The interdisciplinary Olympiad includes a range of general education subjects: computer science, economics, social studies, English language and additional areas – financial and management literacy, basics of public speaking, project management.
"We at RVB are creating a comprehensive educational ecosystem for the development of future entrepreneurs – from school to professional development. Our joint Olympiad with the State University of Management "The Future of Business" is a chance for Russian schoolchildren to prove themselves and the opportunity to take their first steps in entrepreneurship," said Tatyana Kim.
Participants of the Olympiad will receive career advice from experts, points for admission to the State University of Management, certificates for finalists and gifts from the RVB company.
"The Aleksandrovskoye Commercial School, on the basis of which the State University of Management was later founded, trained entrepreneurs and businessmen even in the pre-revolutionary era and was associated with many famous representatives of the Moscow merchant class. All these years, we have continued and developed the traditions of Russian entrepreneurship, trained specialized specialists, organized thematic excursions, opened entrepreneurship classes, and now, together with the Russian Higher School of Management, we will implement an Olympiad for talented schoolchildren who will be able to develop the economy of our country in the future," shared Vladimir Stroyev, Rector of the State University of Management.
In addition, RVB, together with the State University of Management, will launch the Children's Business School (DBS) in the fall — a free educational program for schoolchildren. Online courses that are available for independent study from anywhere in the world. As part of the online school, students will learn about the experience of large entrepreneurs, master basic tools for work — resource search and risk management — learn to form business ideas and strategies, find partners and scale their business, and in the end, launch their own business project. After each educational block, students have access to interactive tasks to consolidate the knowledge they have gained. Completing the DBS course will help schoolchildren prepare for participation in the Olympiad on innovative entrepreneurship.
