Vladivostok, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) — Russia is conducting assessment work on four more high-speed rail lines (HSR) after the first one connecting Moscow and St. Petersburg, TASS reported on Monday, citing Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.

As V. Savelyev reported to the media at the Eastern Economic Forum, by order of the president, in March of next year he will be required to report on the parameters of the next four high-speed railway projects.

The Moscow-Saint Petersburg HSR project is the first of 5 high-speed highway projects approved by the president. It is planned to build a HSR from Moscow to Minsk, to Yekaterinburg via Kazan, to Adler and Ryazan.

The 10th Eastern Economic Forum was held in Vladivostok on September 3-6. –0–
