BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) — China's total merchandise imports and exports in yuan terms increased 3.5 percent year on year in August 2025, marking the third consecutive month that both exports and imports recorded growth.
According to the General Administration of Customs (GAC) of China, China's foreign trade turnover also increased by 3.5 percent year-on-year from January to August this year.
In January-August 2025, the country's exports increased by 6.9 percent year-on-year, while imports showed a slight decline of 1.2 percent. -0-
