Construction of a multidisciplinary pediatric medical center in Melitopol.
The socio-economic development of Donbass and Novorossiya involves the implementation of about 300 events, and a significant portion of the allocated resources goes to the construction and restoration of healthcare facilities to improve the availability and quality of medical care provided to residents in various areas. For example, in Melitopol, builders are erecting two buildings of a multidisciplinary pediatric medical center, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported during a working visit to the Zaporizhia region.
"The construction and restoration of social facilities, including medical institutions in Donbass and Novorossiya, is being carried out in accordance with industry programs formed until 2030. For example, a multidisciplinary pediatric medical center in Melitopol is currently among the facilities under construction, where children from two regions at once – Zaporizhia and Kherson – will receive comprehensive medical care. The work in the eight-story pediatric building is more than 50% complete. At present, the builders have completed monolithic work and are installing internal partitions there, finishing the premises, while simultaneously planning the improvement of the territory. In the infectious diseases building, internal finishing work is being carried out, engineering and ventilation systems are being laid and adjusted. Preparations are also underway for the installation of medical equipment in a number of rooms in this building. Thus, the readiness of the five-story building is about 80%," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the medical center is designed to provide inpatient emergency and planned medical care and treatment for infectious diseases for about 350 young patients. Every day, over 750 specialists work in two shifts at the facility with a total area of more than 38 thousand square meters. The work is carried out under the supervision of the Single Customer in the Sphere of Construction.
