KUNMING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) — A report highlighting the global significance and practical value of China's public intellectual goods was released Saturday by the Xinhua Institute, a think tank under the Xinhua News Agency.
The paper, titled “Answering the Questions of Our Time: The Global Significance and Practical Value of China’s Public Intellectual Goods,” points out that China has been steadily increasing its supply of global intellectual goods, gradually building a system that covers aspects such as international order, national development and common human values.
“Building a community with a shared future for mankind, advancing Chinese modernization and developing universal values is not only China’s independent choice, but also its deep reflection and sense of responsibility for world development,” the report says.
It also notes that China's global public intellectual goods, with the three key theoretical characteristics of scientific soundness, openness and progressiveness, are designed to bring about a broader and grander future for human development.
