On the eve of City Day, the capital will host the 20th parade of historical transport, which will continue with an exhibition of trams and cars on Chistoprudny Boulevard. They will take place on Saturday, September 6.

The festive program of the retro transport parade will begin at 11:30 with the start of the column from the Novokuznetskaya metro station. It will feature 15 retro trams. The exhibition of historical trams and cars on Chistoprudny Boulevard will be open from 12:00 to 18:00.
An extensive program with free treats and entertainment for children has been prepared for visitors. Special photo zones will also be organized. In addition, performances by the project's artists will take place here. "Music in the Metro", the Moscow Metro Academic Choir and guest musician Denis Maidanov. Historical reenactors will help recreate the atmosphere of past years.
In connection with the retro transport parade on September 6, traffic in the center of the capital will be temporarily restricted.
Thus, from 08:30 to 11:30, sections of Sadovnichesky Proezd from Klimentovsky Lane to Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street will be closed, as well as in the area of house 22/24, building 1 on Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment.
From 11:00 to 12:00, the following sections will be closed for short periods of time – no more than 10 minutes:
— in Sadovnichesky proezd from Ovchinnikovskaya embankment, house 22/24, building 1 to Bolshoy Ustinsky bridge;
– on the Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge;
— in Ustinsky passage from Bolshoy Ustinsky bridge to Yauzskaya street;
— along Yauzsky Boulevard from Yauzskaya Street to Podkolokolny Lane;
— along Pokrovsky Boulevard from Podkolokolny Lane to Pokrovka Street.
From 11:00 to 18:00 traffic will be closed on Chistoprudny Boulevard from Pokrovka Street to Myasnitskaya Street and on Belgorodsky Proezd from Pokrovka Street to Chistoprudny Boulevard.
In addition, from 00:01 on September 6 until the end of the event, it will be prohibited to park on Chistoprudny Boulevard from Pokrovka Street to Myasnitskaya Street and on Belgorodsky Proezd from Pokrovka Street to Chistoprudny Boulevard.
