This summer, 20 bus and electric bus routes have been adjusted, and 13 new ones have been launched. "We are constantly developing the capital's route network, as instructed by Sergei Sobyanin. For example, this summer we opened four main routes and added about 20 stops. We monitor the demand for routes in order to improve passenger comfort, and launch new ones between popular points of attraction, taking into account the wishes of city residents," added Maxim Liksutov.
Among the main changes of the summer season is the adjustment of routes No. 3, 24 and 27 in Zelenograd with the addition of new stops. Now ground transport goes through the special economic zone "Technopolis Moscow" to the Zelenograd-Kryukovo station of the third Moscow Central Diameter (MCD). A new bus route C269 in TiNAO has also appeared, running from the Rassudovo platform to several settlements in the Bekasovo district. And in 16 districts of the city, trunk routes M23, M27, M64 and M74 have started operating.
Moscow is actively developing ground urban transport to improve passenger comfort. In 2024 alone, more than 70 new electric bus routes were opened in the city. This is twice as many as in 2023. Over 800 electric buses manufactured by PJSC KAMAZ and the GAZ Group have entered the fleets of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans.
In 2024, 140 bus and electric bus routes were adjusted and 15 new routes were opened, connecting residential areas with rail frame stations. Transport accessibility was improved for more than 30 residential complexes and 110 stops were made near clinics, schools, train stations and metro stations. In addition, 33 dedicated lanes with a total length of more than 30 kilometers were organized.
