BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — The Chinese people made enormous contributions to saving human civilization and safeguarding world peace by making enormous sacrifices in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, an important part of the World Anti-Fascist War, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Wednesday.
