BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday said the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, a great and exhausting war, was a complete victory for China in repelling an external invasion for the first time since the beginning of modern history.
